The app has no accounts and no sign-up. Your library, drawings, timelapse videos, favorites and progress stay on your phone and disappear when you uninstall the app. The little that reaches us is tied to an anonymous identifier, not to your name, and you can have it deleted with one email. Ad-measurement events that go to Meta are described in the Privacy Policy.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data - Lumilo".
- If you bought Lumilo Pro, add the Google Play order number
(it looks like
GPA.1234-5678-9012-34567; you can find it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history, or in the purchase receipt email from Google). This lets us find your purchase record without any personal details. If you did not buy, tell us the phone model and the approximate date you installed the app.
We confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, then email you a confirmation. No questions asked and no account to log into.
What gets deleted
- Purchase record: the anonymous app user ID and the subscription or Lifetime purchase linked to it, held by our billing provider (RevenueCat).
- Product analytics: the anonymous usage events linked to the same identifier (which screens were opened, drawings started and finished, and similar), held by our analytics provider (PostHog).
Data that was never sent to us (your library, drawings, timelapse videos, favorites, progress and settings) lives only on your phone. Uninstalling the app removes it. Photos and texts sent for AI sketches are processed for the few seconds a sketch takes and are not stored by our server, so there is nothing of them to delete on our side. Our server keeps only expiring counters of AI sketches under the anonymous ID, which delete themselves.
What deletion does not do
- It does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are managed by Google Play: open Google Play → Subscriptions and cancel there, or use Settings → Manage subscription inside the app. If you delete your data while a subscription is active, Lumilo Pro may stop working on your device until you use "Restore purchases".
- It does not touch Google's own records of your purchases, which Google keeps under Google's privacy policy.
- It does not reach Meta's copy. The ad-measurement events described in the Privacy Policy go to Meta under your device's advertising ID, not under our anonymous ID, so we cannot find or delete them. You can delete or reset the advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, and clear what apps share with Meta under "Your activity off Meta technologies" in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
- We may keep the minimum needed for tax and accounting obligations (the fact that a sale happened, the amount and the date), with nothing that identifies you.
